All higher education courses at the Institute of Health and Management (IHM) require the use of the
APA referencing and formatting style when submitting written assignments. APA referencing is also
used by IHM students. This guide includes instructions for students to follow the APA referencing
system as well as a style guide for formatting papers. Whilst the APA system is a standard adopted by many institutions, there are some details that are particular to IHM.
